IBM joins BOX
IBM is aligning with Box to trade cloud based services together
IBM along with Box have recently announced an international tie-up which will see both firms integrate their services to cooperatively vend their present enterprise products.
With the alliance, IBM & Box will try to bring fresh services for other industries which are gradually relying upon cloud-based platforms for data management.
Box will connect with content management services of IBM & utilize the Watson Analytics from Big Blue to offer insights on the data which uploaded to their storage. Also, they’ll add their capabilities to the Verse email program from IBM & Connections partnership policy.
In addition, Box consumers will be eligible to preserve their data in the data centers of IBM cloud worldwide for better resiliency, localization & privacy.
Besides, Box is likely to integrate with the security technologies of IBM so as to provide mobile device organization, identity protection & threat detection in their enterprise storage services.
The latest collaboration signals a new milestone in the journey of Box which begun with regular cloud storage services & are currently moving up and up in the field of enterprise storage services.
