Iraq- the City of ancients
Many old civilization exist on mother earth having different culture, living styles, social norms and other values. These ancient civilizations not only reflect the living styles and culture but they have also passed on the methods of survival, latest trends, social traits, arts and many other chapters to the next civilizations through their work which can be seen on buildings, style of living and even in the modern living style it is mixed. Civilization like Roman, Babylon and Indus valley civilizations are the baselines for the modern civilizations to follow. They also are a role model for people who seek that how much these people were civilized and self-built in their era.

Just like many other civilizations mentioned above, Iraq also had a deeply rooted ancient civilization hailed from Mesopotamia civilization. History books show the deep involvement of Iraqi civilization with music, performing arts, food, and other cultural aspects. Mesopotamia is the witness of the oldest developments of the Neolithic Revolution from around 10,000 BC. Also history Suggests that modern Irish and Britons have their ancestors back in this specific civilization.

One of the earliest languages used in the civilization was Sumerian along with semitic languages. In the Iraqi civilizations men and women both were encouraged to read and write so that they could excel in their respective fields so, as a result a considerable amount of other civilization literature was converted into Sumerian language which portrays a significant amount of learning curve of this side of the world

There is a long list to remember when it comes to historical heritage of Iraq. Muslims and Christians both have their religious places which are centuries old and they are in deep attraction with them. Sunni Muslims have Baghdad and place of karbala as their historical religious where Baghdad has the tomb of Imam abu hanifa “the main scholar of sunni sect” and karbala is shared by both shia and sunni for religious devotion on different levels. Shia also have najaf and samara as their key places to worship.

Besides the religious places, there are many historical places and scriptures which are either lost in the war or they are destroyed by the newest daemon known as ISIS. They literally bombed the religious places, taken down the statues build over thousand years ago and mauled the youth which were meant to be the builders of tomorrow. This militant group used these places as a shield so in result many historical places were destroyed which were considered to be discoveries of key importance.

However In between this, Iraqis still have the the touch of their traditional culture in social, cultural and traditional values.
