At some point in our life; all of us realizes that the way to lead a healthy life and stay fit is through diet, exercises, working out. And we have all heard about how we should constantly exercise, how it is the key to staying healthy and happy! And because of that some of us even started doing some of them but failed to continue in the long run. Why did that happen? Lack of proper motivation and knowledge. A large number of people exercise so that they would be physically strong, have six packs abs, strong muscles etc. But exercise is not about that. Not mainly at least!

Exercising can be of various types. Basically rapid movement of your body parts are considered as exercises. From, running constantly to nowhere all the way to pulling weights at gyms; all of this fall into the exercise category. And the main purpose of exercising is to give you a happy and healthy life! I mean who doesn’t want to live happily?

To work efficiently many of the important systems of the human body rely on movement. While exercising will improve our physical posture it will also prevent loads of fatal diseases such as diabetes, breast cancer, high blood pressure etc. Not only will it prevent diseases it will also lift up your mood, make you stress free and lead you into living a happy life.

And for these health benefits you don’t need to go to a gym regularly or join a triathlon club. All you have to do is maintain the consistency. One thing experts agree on is that your exercise, at the very least, has to be moderately intense and has to be regular.

First of all, as we all know regular exercise can help prevent excess weight gain or help maintain weight loss. When you engage in physical activity, you burn calories. The more intense the activity, the more calories you burn. So, for those of you who wish to lose significant amount of weight, here is your solution!

Research suggests that burning off 350 calories three times a week through sustained, sweat-inducing activity can reduce symptoms of depression about as effectively as antidepressants. Cool, right?

Through exercising, not only is your brain getting more energy and oxygen, but many studies have shown that exercise can boost your memory and help you learn better.

Regular physical activity can help you fall asleep faster and deepen your sleep. Even short bursts of exercise in the morning or afternoon can help regulate your sleep patterns.

Regular exercising plays an important role in our sexual life. Do you sometimes feel too tired or too out of shape to enjoy physical intimacy? Well, say goodbye to those days because regular physical activity can and will leave you feeling energized and looking better, which may have a positive effect on your sex life.

Last but not least, exercise and physical activity can be a fun way to spend some time. It gives you a chance to unwind, enjoy the outdoors or simply engage in activities that make you happy. So, take a dance class, hit the hiking trails or join a soccer team. But how much time you exercise a day won’t matter if you stop doing it after a week or so. Remember that, consistency is a MUST!

Exercise and physical activity are a great way to feel better, gain health benefits and have fun. Regular exercising can prevent your depression keeping you happy and cheerful. And staying happy is the key to living a healthy life! Not only you can lead a healthy and happy life through exercises, but also look fit while doing so!
