The BQ Aquaris E-4.5 (Ubuntu Version) – the world’s very first device powered by Ubuntu, has hit the markets of Europe. It features a 4.5” screen, an 8MP back shooter, & quad core CPU. It is offered at only €169.90 (around $192).

Although, the first Ubuntu model were initially supposed to be launched previous year, however recent reports show that its software was not good enough to public launch.

The Ubuntu platform is likely to target mid-range devices at first, hence you see the affordable Aquaris E-4.5 launched for the consumers. The phone provides a 4.5” q-HD screen, a quad core Media-Tek Cortex A-7 CPU which clocks at 1.3 Gigahertz, 1 GB RAM & Mali 400 graphics.

You will also be getting 8 GB internal space, dual SIM feature, an 8 MP rear shooter along with dual L.E.D flash, full HD video capture, a 5 MP front shooter & a micro SD card slot.

The phone will be offered thru “flash sales” to begin with, so consumers will receive only a few hours for placing their orders, or till the whole stock is sold off. Those missing out on this will be required to wait till the subsequent flash sale becomes available.
